Mit hår er texlaxed. Denne braidout involveret hjælp 3 cornrows, and my unconventional satin fabric method. Jeg er stadig at vænne sig til sløve klippe hår, so braiding the ends is kind of a challenge. With that being said, if I didn’t use the satin fabric, I don’t know how I’d get my braids to stay- so I guess it works out. Watch out for part 2 where I show the results of the braidout. @Adellehenri1 I would NOT do it on wet hair at all. Damp Hair yes, but you have to give it enough time to dry.

Men 1 reason is it gives better definition. The scarf is acting like a flexirod/roller. Instead of wrapping your around it, you braid your hair with/around it.

I’ve never seen that done with strips of satin. Nice. Why do you use the strips and what does that do verses regular braiding?

Sikker, I think it will work that way too. I never tried the outside cornrow because everytime I start cornrowing, I somehow always revert to the inside cornrow.
Instead of putting the scarf under your hair as I show in the “how to cornrow with a satin scarf” på, you would start the cornrow with the scarf on top of your hair.
will it work the same with an over-handed braid..like one that sits on top and sticks up..like a regular cornrow??
do you know WHY using a satin scarf gives you better definition? like the actual reason behind it or did you just stumble across the method?xxx
